CRITICISM (Constructive criticism anyway) involves telling someone what they did wrong and what to do to fix it. This person didn't do that. He/She INSULTED his friend, which served no help or sense of purpose to the team. Instead of pointing the finger, he/she could have at least made an effort to help out more. Dropping f-bombs and screaming and ranting and blaming someone is not criticism. It's being a grade A asshat. I've dealt with people like this before. People that just call others idiots, noobs, morons, and worse. Do they ever constructively try to critique the person's build and help them? No. They hurl insults and act like pompous twits.

I think Penny Arcade summed up this phenomenon rather well.

actually i find HA and RA some of the worst places to go. TA you go with you're mates so its fine. GvG, even when im guesting for a guild in the alliance we're all modest, chat the problems through on vent and NEVER rage.

from what im reading everyone seems not to understand.

She is a girl (feelings are a bit higher)
the insults were on vent so its a little more hars than a Typeing mesg FU or some thing like that it is a Real voice Curseing in your ears.
They are all Guildies of over a year and a half
And seem to be R10+

all you people telling her to get new guild are the people I do not let into my guild and warn everyone about GUILD HOPPERS. all you do is cost money. you might become better at HA and GWer if you stick with a guild more than a few hours.

Well first of all, at R10 you'd bet she found idiots. But as you stated, the difference between your everyday a-hole and what happened in the OP's post are different - it's not someone saying "FU NOOB" in whisper and leaving your party. It's someone blatantly flaming you as if you were on the phone with them. It must've been pretty harsh if she wanted to quit the game after that, or she took it too seriously as well.... but for a R10 to want to leave the game like this, I'd vote for the first thing.

And if something like that would have happened in my guild, you bet I'd kick the guy who did this. This is NOT a kind of behavior that can be justified.
